In this year we focus mainly on a Students led Research & Development project and that is ‘Combat Climate Change through Environmental Promotion Initiatives with Involvement of Women & Children in Airport displaced area’. This project aims to reduce the use of plastic and promote eco friendly materials and thereby reducing pollution. By planting more trees and ensuring their growth, the project will move to its second phase. These all process is done through enabling and strengthening the women and adolescent girl children of the airport displaced locality.
A collaborative venture of James Cook University of Australia and De Paul Extension Services to cater for the mental well being of students of the nearby locality. It aims at creating a mental health gym for the children just as the fitness centers that helps the body to keep itself strong. It works with the help of music and different mental well being activities and therapies.
De Paul Extension Service (DES) engages in different social outreach programes.
It promotes social welfare activities for the advancement of the marginalized and other deprived sections in the society.
